ASTM/ASME B18.24
Part Identifying Number (PIN) Code.
The new ASME B18.24 Part Identifying Number (PIN) Code System Standard for B18 Fasteners
provides users with the ability to specify and identify all ASME B18 fastener products using a
single 18-digit PIN code system.
It is intended to provide all users with the capability to identify externally threaded, internally
threaded, and non-threaded fastener products.
The B18 PIN is a self-contained code, with distinct identification linkage to individual ASME B18
fastener product standards.
The PIN code concept provides for direct traceablity back to the applicable B18 standard.
B18.24 series is available with the following features:
- Cadmium
- Zinc
- Coarse Thread
- Fine Thread
- Drilled Head
- Self-Locking
- Drilled Head and Self-Locking
